Hot Chocolate

I like this one. I always used 3 in 1. Never thought to make a homemade hot chocolate until one day i stumble upon this blog. I just add 1/2 tsp sweetened condensed milk from the original recipe because i used bittersweet chocolate, if u like the bittersweet taste, just ignore the condensed milk. I'll definitely going to make this again & will double up....or triple the recipe, coz the owner of this recipe said that its for 4 servings..errrr..excuse me, its for one...ahakss..

Hot Chocolate
Source : Baking Obsession
  • 2 oz bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1/2 tsp sweetened condensed milk (optional)
  • Whipped cream, for serving (optional)
Place the chocolate in a small saucepan. Pour about a half of the boiling water over the chocolate and whisk until the chocolate is melted. Add the rest of the boiling water and the milk. Heat the mixture, whisking constantly, until it is hot but not boiling. For the best flavor and texture, avoid exceeding 180F. Serve immediately or set aside and reheat gently before serving.
