Basic Crepe

Yesterday was my son's sports day, so early morning i wake him up, shower & get ready to this sports day. He's quite excited about it coz he's soo..into sports. Unlike last year, this year he didn't join the opening ceremony, sports only. We had a great time, taking a lot of picture of my son with his friends, since this year  is his last year in the kindergarten so i want it to be memorize (he'll thank me later..ahakss).

Its really fun to look at the kids there. With their innocence faces, don't really know what are they really doing, just follow teachers instruction..hahah...they are soooo cute.

So..ok, since i talk about kids, now i give u recipe for kiddos heheh...trust me ur kids going to loovee this...

Basic Crepe
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 salt
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (optional)
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder and the eggs. Gradually add in the milk and water, stirring to combine. Add the salt and butter; beat until smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each crepe. Tilt the pan with a circular motion so that the batter coats the surface evenly.
Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes, until the bottom is light brown. Loosen with a spatula, turn and cook the other side.

For plain crepes, i used butter for filling & roll-up & for chocolate, i used nutella for filling & roll-up.
U also can serve with whipped cream & fresh fruits.
